Marketing Coordinator

Marketing AssistantYou will work in a team-oriented environment and fully support and provide assistance to the marketing team with administrative tasks, provide engaging customer service, and assist in developing and implementing Lake Nona Wave Hotel's brand strategy. You will also support the continuing effort to deliver distinctively different guest experiences and nurture lasting relationships with our customers.ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:Develop and implement property and market-based initiatives to drive awareness of the hotel primarily our guest rooms, restaurants and bars, and meetings and events as well as promoting the wider destination of Lake NonaWorks closely with all departments in particular sales and catering on graphic design projects to support sales effortsWorks closely with agency partners to support digital marketing, email, print, and PR activationsParticipates in hotel events and creates content to further promote future opportunitiesWorks with people services on recruitment and retention campaignsSupport the development and maintenance of internal tools, including credentials database, trackers, global contact directory, and intranetsSupport the Sr. Marketing Manager in establishing and evaluating marketing strategyMaintain inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials when necessaryContinually seek new sources of prospective customer data and provide recommendations to sales and marketing leadershipQualificationsQualifications:Proven accuracy and attention to detailStrong graphic design skills with knowledge of video editing, Adobe, and CanvaDemonstrate excellent oral and written communication skillsExhibits flexibility and adaptability to the changing and evolving needs of the operation and other duties as assigned by leadership within the scope of the roleMaintain a professional and positive demeanorMust be able to function as part of a teamProficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookMust be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidaysStrong knowledge of social media marketing is requiredBasic background in digital/search marketingDesirable:Flexibility.
