Responsibilities Clean Patient Rooms : Perform regular cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, including beds, furniture, and medical equipment. Maintain Bathrooms : Ensure all bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies. Sanitize Common Areas : Regularly clean and disinfect common areas such as waiting rooms, hallways, and lounges. Waste Management : Properly dispose of waste and hazardous materials following hospital protocols. Restock Supplies : Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE). Report Maintenance Issues : Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department. Follow Safety Protocols : Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines to protect yourself and others. Assist with Special Cleaning Projects : Participate in deep cleaning and special projects as required. Support Team Efforts : Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and hospital personnel to ensure a high standard of cleanliness. Qualifications Physical Dexterity : Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength, dexterity, and a range of motion, including bending, lifting, and reaching. Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization. Communication Skills : Good communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and visitors. Experience : Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Reliability : Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
