MANAGER JERSEY MIKES - $60,000

Typical duties include:

• Ensuring total customer satisfaction through the delivery of a quality product and excellent customer service by restaurant personnel.
• Responding positively and quickly to customer concerns and correcting problems before they affect customers.
• Supervising and directing employees customarily and regularly during work hours.
• Training, coaching and providing regular performance feedback to motivate and improve the performance of all employees.
• Evaluating employees' performance and holding employees accountable for meeting performance standards.
• Communicating team goals and expectations to all employees; coaching employees toward achieving goals, recognizing and rewarding employees who contribute to goals.
• Making employment decisions regarding: hiring, discipline, advancement, termination, compensation.
• Developing and executing the business plan for the restaurant.
• Analyzing business performance, monitoring controllable costs and initiating appropriate corrective actions when necessary.
• Utilizing labor effectively to meet budgets while ensuring high quality of QSC.
• Executing company-wide marketing programs.
• Identifying and developing local restaurant marketing strategies to maximize sales.
• Ensuring business and personnel practices are conducted according to state and federal laws and consistent with company policies and procedures.
• Upholding company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements to ensure health and safety of customer and employees.
• Continued education including franchise specific certifications.
• Transporting cash deposits to bank in a secure personal vehicle.
• Modeling and promoting all shared company values including compassion, communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older. And, have a food handler's permit and/or obtain one within 30 days of starting. High school diploma or equivalent. Successful team members are service oriented with not only the guest, but also your team members. A good team player will communicate consistently, be able to comfortably interact with customers, handle service issues that may arise in a professional manner, and be able to take initiative and problem solve. Basic math skills are critical.

• Must be able to read/write/speak English.
• Constant standing, twisting, reaching, grabbing, combined with periods of pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Knowledge:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a team/shift leader position (in a restaurant, retail, or convenience store).
• Jersey Mike's phase 1 & 3 certification, and attend phase 2 within first 12 months.
• Must be knowledgeable regarding employment law and Human Resources Practices.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.
• Basic math.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Food handler's permit.
• Valid driver license, with clean driving record and sufficient liability coverage.

Working Conditions:

• Sometimes involve exposure to excessive heat and cold associated with kitchen environment.
• Exposure to various foods, cleaning chemicals, sharp utensils, and hazardous food preparation equipment.
