Location: Morgantown, WV (Onsite)

Reports To: Group HR Director/Controller

Travel: 10% to 20%

Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 annually

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on HR Generalist to support a multi-site automotive workforce. This position will be located at our Ford Lincoln of Morgantown dealership with 10-20% travel to our John Sisson dealerships in Washington, PA. This position plays a key role in all aspects of Human Resources, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, benefits administration, payroll support, and employee engagement.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative HR professional who enjoys working directly with managers and employees to create a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support employee relations, investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Administer benefits, leave programs, and employee accommodations.
• Maintain HRIS records and support reporting, audits, and compliance activities.
• Serve as a backup payroll administrator, including processing payroll and maintaining employee data in ADP Workforce Now.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
• Lead and support employee engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience. Equivalent years of experience may be considered.
• 2-4 years of HR Generalist experience.
• Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP, Workday, UKG, or similar systems.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the region.

Preferred

• PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
• Automotive, retail, or multi-site HR experience.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN).
