Physical Therapist Outpatient

Shift: Day, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Requirements:

• State PT license required (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required; 2 years preferred
• Certifications: BLS preferred
• Experience with documentation: Evaluation, Assessment, Plan of Care, Short- & Long-term goals, Reassessments, Discharge
• Familiarity with clinical assessments: Body mechanics, pain assessment, strength testing, vital signs
• Experience with equipment: Hoyer lift, gait belt, walkers, crutches, sit-to-stand lift, hospital bed, prosthetics, traction table, supplemental oxygen

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess patients to develop personalized treatment plans
• Implement treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes and exercises

Compliance / Notes:

• 16 hours of orientation required
• Request time off (RTO) must be submitted up to 7 days prior
• Dress code: Khaki pants, black top
• Free parking available
