Service Manager

Frankies 457  is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Service Manager   to join our team. 

This role will collaborate with the restaurants General Manager and leadership team to oversee all aspects of day to day restaurant operations. Individuals should demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, a passion to create impactful guest experiences, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a genuine enjoyment of interacting with people.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in the day-to day front of house operations of the restaurant’s dining and take-out/delivery operations
• Manage operating standards for the restaurant, including quality and labor compliance
• Ensure a warm service experience for all guests, responding positively and promptly to guest requests and concerns when they arise. 
• Drive standards of service and provide continuous support to all service staff, actively participating in service as needed
• Adhere to NYC DOH sanitation standards, and communicate facility needs as 
• Properly open and close physical operation, including all financial reporting necessary
• Assist with any menu updates across the operation as needed, including printed, online, delivery and POS menus
• Run all technology needed to execute daily operations, including POS, delivery, and scheduling/time & attendance platforms
• Assist with monthly inventory of all small wares, beverages, ordering as necessary, and ensure all items are stored and maintained properly
• Work with the leadership team to engage, and educate all staff on steps of service, upselling 

You Should Have:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership position at a restaurant
• Expert food and beverage knowledge ( Wine Cert a plus!) 
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and be a quick thinker in the moment
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills with proficiency in Google Docs
• Flexible work schedule with ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• NY Food Handler’s Certificate a plus
• English Fluency, Spanish knowledge is a plus
• The ability to meet the physical demands for this position, including: seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
