*CERTIFIED PAYROLL SPECIALIST NEEDED!*Recent Prevailing Wage experience is a MUST!TEWS has partnered with one of Florida's largest and most successful construction firms in the Central Florida area to find a loyal and reliable Payroll Specialist with a go-getter attitude to add to their team.Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm in office$26-$31/hour, depending on experienceThe Ideal Candidate:4 years of previous experience as a Certified Payroll SpecialistAbility to review work for accuracy and neatnessThink independently and develop solutions to problemsExcellent computer skills including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word); SAP experience preferredBilingual in English and Spanish preferredUnion experienec a plusEssential Job Functions:Review Certified Payroll records for accuracy, ensuring all information is complete across Statement of Compliance, Wage and Hour Record, Deduction Record, and Fringe Benefit Record.Verify correct pay rates and amounts align with approved wage tables, including project and weekly totals, deductions, and net pay.Collaborate with subcontractors on Certified Payroll processes and provide assistance as needed.Address Department of Transportation inquiries promptly.Proficiency in electronic filing systems.#LI-DA1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Tews Company Staffing
