Overview
Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care (OB/Labor & Delivery/Postpartum) in Perham, MN. Travel assignment with a start date of 09/28/2026 in a hospital setting focused on OB, labor & delivery, postpartum and newborn services. Shift will be 12-hour day/night rotating, with a schedule of 72 hours every two weeks and every third weekend. This position offers a weekly pay range of $2,385–$2,427 and no guaranteed hours. Locals are accepted at the same pay rate, and orientation is 24 hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive OB/Labor & Delivery, Postpartum and Newborn nursing care, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean experience as needed
- Perform external fetal monitoring (EFM), assess labor progression, manage vaginal bleeding, placenta issues, and ectopic/spontaneous abortion scenarios
- Deliver neonatal/postpartum care, administer medications (including anticoagulation and insulin as ordered), start IVs, perform venipuncture, and manage emergency medications
- Maintain cardiac monitoring proficiency, respond to CPR, AED use, and chest pain assessment/management as indicated
- Conduct patient education, telephone triage, chart preparation, and scheduling; ensure accurate documentation in Epic
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy) to support patient care

Requirements
- Minnesota RN license (active required; or pending with acceptable timelines)
- Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
- Experience: Minimum 1 year, community hospital experience required; OB/Labor & Delivery/Postpartum experience preferred
- Education: RN degree from an accredited program
- Epic charting experience required
- COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions allowed for medical/religious reasons)
