Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities, establishing tailored treatment plans that are evidence-based and patient-centered.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless continuity of care, providing consultations and updates on patient progress and needs.
• Implement rehabilitation treatments, including physical modalities, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to facilitate recovery and improve quality of life.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring all treatment and discharge plans are thoroughly documented and that charges for services rendered are submitted appropriately.
• Engage in interdisciplinary communication, coordinating patient care with other team members, physicians, and support staff to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Lead community outreach initiatives and participate in program development to enhance our service offerings and maximize patient engagement.
• Attend required meetings and pursue ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current in the field of physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient demographic, ranging from orthopedic rehabilitation clients recovering from surgery to elderly patients requiring assistance with balance and mobility issues. Your role will require cultural competence and a deep understanding of varied patient backgrounds, ensuring personalized attention and respect for individual treatment preferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy is required to practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and billing purposes.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience is required, candidates with additional specialization in areas such as sports rehabilitation, geriatric care, or manual therapy techniques will be viewed favorably. Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation facility setting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This Full-Time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
