Job Description:Assist in the preparation of the quarterly external financial statements to ensure disclosures are complete and accurate, including the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Equity and Statement of Cash FlowsPrepare monthly internal management flash reportsAssist in the monthly close process by preparing monthly journal entries, including preparation of account reconciliations and other supporting schedulesPerform and document the company's annual goodwill and intangible impairment testing proceduresRollforward quarterly financial statements in WorkivaResearch new accounting pronouncements and document how these will impact the companyResearch SEC and US GAAP guidance including performing peer research for various disclosures as necessaryWork with auditors to answer questions and resolve questionsMonthly/quarterly analytics over the financial statementsPrioritize projects in order to meet deadlines; ability to coordinate multiple aspects of key financial reporting deliverables in a timely fashionRelationships and PeopleDevelop and maintain relationships with third party consultants, external auditors, business partners across the company, including affiliate finance personnel, Corporate FP& A, Tax, Treasury, Global Shared Services and KPMGWork with accounting personnel from domestic and foreign affiliates to resolve issues in a timely mannerTrain and develop new staff in the department, as neededRequirementsJob Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in AccountingCPA preferredBig 4 audit experience preferredSEC reporting3-5 years of experience in accounting related role with financial reporting experienceSignificant relevant experience in fast paced accounting departmentDemonstrated ability to prepare and analyze financial statementsProficiency in the Microsoft OfficeExperience with SAP and BPC a plusExperience with Workiva a plusTo apply to this hybrid role please send your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io specialized recruiting professionals apply their expertise and utilize our proprietary AI to find you great job matches faster.Job typePerm
