Registered Nurse – Intensive Care UnitSchedule: Variable schedule 7a - 7p / 7p - 7aAssignment Details:Contract Length: 26 weeksGuaranteed Hours: Not specifiedRequirements:License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse.Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required during clinical orientation.Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire.Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification within 90 days of hire.Preferred Certifications:Emergency Nurses Association certification within 2 years of hire.Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 2 years of hire.Skills:Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office products and electronic medical records preferred.Roles & Responsibilities:Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the intensive care unit.Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Educate patients and their families on health conditions and care plans.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Compliance / Notes:Certifications must be obtained through the specified system during clinical orientation.Background checks and drug screens may be required as part of the hiring process.Client DetailsCity: GenevaState: NY
