Our client is in need of a Support Services Technician. This position supports daily mailroom and purchasing activities by ensuring materials, correspondence, and deliveries move efficiently and accurately throughout the organization. The ideal candidate brings a service-focused mindset, works well within established procedures, and helps maintain a secure, organized, and compliant operation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the receipt, sorting, and distribution of incoming mail, packages, and overnight shipments across the facility.

• Deliver correspondence, supplies, and other materials to designated departments in a timely and accurate manner.

• Monitor mailroom inventory levels and replenish mailing and shipping supplies to support uninterrupted daily operations.

• Coordinate service requests for mailroom equipment or related support needs and track progress through resolution.

• Maintain stock records for inventoried items and assist with the procurement of routine printed materials and office-related supplies.

• Follow postal regulations and internal handling procedures to ensure compliant processing of outgoing and incoming mail.

• Keep accurate documentation of completed mailroom, delivery, inventory, and purchasing support activities.

• Promote a safe work environment while safeguarding mailroom areas, stored materials, and any assigned vehicles.

• Provide responsive customer service to internal stakeholders by addressing routine requests and resolving day-to-day support issues.

• Prior experience working in a mailroom, distribution, shipping, or related support services environment.
• Ability to sort, process, and deliver daily mail and packages with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of standard mail handling practices and familiarity with postal or courier procedures.
• Experience maintaining supply inventory and supporting routine purchasing or order fulfillment tasks.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally across departments.
• Ability to keep accurate records and follow established policies, procedures, and security guidelines.
• Capable of managing multiple daily tasks in a fast-paced setting while meeting deadlines.
