Key Responsibilities\n

In the role of Licensed Professional Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, building rapport, and fostering positive therapeutic relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting regular sessions with clients to assess progress, discuss stability, plan upcoming appointments, and determine appropriate discharge procedures.

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation including progress notes for all clients in accordance with agency policies.

• Performing comprehensive intake assessments to accurately evaluate client needs and ensure appropriate treatment pathways.

• Participating in individual supervision sessions to facilitate professional growth and accountability.
\n
• Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure holistic care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses predominantly on youth and their mental health needs, addressing a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and substance use disorders. The clinician will utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients in achieving their goals and improving their well-being.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in mental health or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements for clinical settings.

• At least one year of professional experience working with psychiatric patients or in substance abuse programs.

• Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and both individual and group therapeutic modalities.

• A demonstrated ability to use computer systems, with basic keyboarding skills for documentation and record-keeping.
