Job Description
Sterile Processing Tech

Schedule

Day shift, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday with occasional scheduled holidays.

Assignment Details

Contract length and guaranteed hours will be discussed during the hiring process.

Requirements

• Certification: either CBSPD or CRCST preferred.
• Experience in decontamination and sterilization processes.
• Knowledge of HLD and scope handling.
• Experience with sterile storage and OR liaison duties.
• Proficiency in using the Censitrac tracking system.
• Ability to manage case cart preparation and take OR calls.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate all items including surgical instruments and scopes.
• Perform sterilization processes using both STEAM and STERRAD methods.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of sterile items.
• Assist with case cart organization for upcoming surgical procedures.
• Serve as liaison between operating room and sterile processing department.
• Answer OR calls for both surgical floors.
