The company offers a range of opportunities for career development in operations. Job Summary The Management in Training – Operations (MIT) Program is an entry‑level, hands‑on training program. It provides 6 months of guidance and support to learn about the pool, irrigation, and landscape distribution industry. Successful graduates may apply for Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager roles nationwide. Training Location Las Vegas, NV – National Pool Trends, 5180 Cameron St, Las Vegas, NV 89118. Training is conducted on site; after completion you will be required to relocate to a different state for a supervisory or managerial position (company will assist). What You Will Do Receive hands‑on training and perform duties in all areas of the distribution center, including Operations, Management, and Purchasing. Shadow contractors, builders, service/maintenance staff, and retail customers to learn all aspects of the business. Participate in classroom training sessions at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, Texas, covering operations, financials, leadership, human capital management, and operating systems. Present a comprehensive report to senior management upon completion of the 6‑month program. Complete other job duties and special projects as assigned. What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related discipline, with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Experience in a leadership or problem‑solving role. Willingness to work in a distribution warehouse environment. Results‑driven, self‑starter with the ability to lead and develop a team amid changing priorities; strong leadership skills required. Motivated, customer‑service driven attitude. Ability and willingness to relocate during and after the program (at company expense). Travel availability up to 25 % of the time. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as pallet jacks and forklifts and lift up to 75 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn inventory systems and additional software. Relevant internship, volunteer, or military leadership experience considered in lieu of work experience.
