We are excited to extend the British Swim School presence in Lake Zurich (S Rand Rd) Position(s) hired and onboarded in August We are looking for individuals passionate about creating a memorable customer experience The Position: The Customer Experience Specialist, known as a "Deck Ambassador" works poolside at our swim school. This position plays a critical role in providing an excellent customer experience. Typical Responsibilities: Setting up and breaking down the pool deck area before and after each shift. Checking water chemistry and temperature prior to swim lessons. Welcoming students and parents/guardians to the pool deck area. Answering customers' questions about their account, their child’s progress, or about the program. Assist swim instructors and managers when needed during swim lessons. Post media content and monitor social media platforms. Report to Business Owner, assist with other business needs Work a schedule that typically includes Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (3:00 - 8:00pm) and Saturday (9:00am - 2:00pm) Compensation and Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience and with possible opportunities for bonuses (employee / student referrals) Paid training Free uniforms Opportunities for advancement (training & development) Birthday off and paid! Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Enthusiastic personality - enjoy interacting with customers (parents and children) Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills Customer service skills: 1 year Have a responsible and professional demeanor Must complete all required British Swim School specific training and testing Additional Qualifications: Swimming experience: 1-2 years beneficial but not required.
