Step into a dynamic contract position serving K-12 students throughout the Houston area’s southwest side. This opportunity is perfect for a skilled Physical Therapist committed to making a difference for children across a wide-reaching, supportive school environment. Candidates must be available for full-time (37.5 hours/week) on-site work, covering multiple campuses with the district office as a home base.

What We’re Seeking:

• Valid Texas PT licensure (or highly experienced PTA with extensive school/pediatric background).
• Experience supporting pediatric or school-age populations, ideally with larger caseloads.
• Proficiency with documentation systems, especially Frontline and SuccessEd.
• Ability to work a flexible school schedule (typical campus days: 8:00 am–4:00 pm or 7:30 am–3:30 pm).
• Willingness and ability to travel between district campuses daily.
• Successful completion of all required fingerprinting and background checks before starting.
• Please note: Candidates who have previously worked in the district or been terminated from any school district are not eligible for this position (affidavit required).

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload shared with a second PT: 160 students total, 50 direct services.
• Deliver individualized physical therapy within K-12 settings.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes.
• Use the district office as a home base prior to traveling to assigned schools.
