Bring your expertise as a dedicated school-based Physical Therapist (or experienced PTA) to a dynamic educational environment supporting K-12 students in a large, vibrant district on the southwest side of the Houston metro area. This full-time contract opportunity offers a rewarding balance of direct therapy, consultative services, collaboration, and flexible school-based work—all while making a positive difference in children's lives.

In this role, you'll support a district-wide caseload alongside a partner PT, with approximately 160 students (50 requiring direct services). You'll have the district office as a home base and travel to schools as needed, working with a diverse range of students and professionals.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license (PTA with extensive pediatric or school-based experience will be considered as a secondary option)
• Successful completion of state background check and fingerprinting (existing fingerprints in the system may suffice)
• Experience working in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Proficient documentation skills using Frontline and SuccessEd (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between schools
• Candidates must not be former employees of this district or have been terminated from any school district (affidavit required)

Your Daily Impact:

• Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students K–12 across multiple campuses
• Assess and address student needs, working collaboratively with educators and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance-focused case documentation and progress tracking
• Adapt schedules (typically 8am-4pm or 7:30am-3:30pm) based on school assignments
