QUALITY MANAGER

 

MSS International is a UK world leader (Europe, India, Americas) specialist in engineered components and assemblies. MSS harnesses over 50 years of metallurgical expertise and global production capabilities to deliver high precision, engineered components for critical and energy sector applications. The company is starting up its first manufacturing operations in the USA, and it is looking for to build up the initial core team of professionals.

 

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that products meet the quality standards , specifications , and certifications required by the industry and by the clients. The QM will support the creation of a continuous learning/improvement system engaging all the company's functions to gain competitive advantage and clients' trust. She/He will help the organization meet the quality requirements and the customer needs, building and maintaining impeccable /reputation within the ecosystem (zero-defect products and 100% customer satisfaction).

 

The Candidate has previous working experience in the same/similar manufacturing/industrial sector (materials, components, assemblies for electrical transmission and distribution) where quality is seen as mission critical. Experience in total quality management - certification process, client audit management. Good problem-solving, tech-savvy, analytical approach, good listener and strong communicator (with third parties, peers, colleagues from other functions and from Corporate). Engineering background, tentatively 2-3 years of relevant work experience (start-up experience). All profiles must show an outstanding ability in teamwork, problem-solving, and customer orientation. All candidates must be naturally inclined to collaboration with a strong results-oriented mindset. High stress tolerance and a great understanding of different cultures/work environment is a plus. 

 

Reference base salary between $110K and $130K + bonus + benefits

 

The position is 100% on-site, based in Houston (Texas) and requires US work authorization
