Senior E Billing Specialist

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior E Billing Specialist in Tampa, FL. Summary: Our client, a large professional services organization in Tampa is seeking a Senior E-Billing Specialist to join its Revenue and Billing team. This position will play a critical role in managing the electronic billing process and serving as a liaison between internal stakeholders and clients to ensure invoices are submitted, processed, and resolved efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal or professional services billing, hands‑on e‑billing experience, and the ability to manage complex billing arrangements in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment. Manage the full lifecycle of electronic billing for assigned accounts Submit invoices through various e‑billing platforms and vendor portals Monitor invoice status and proactively resolve billing issues Research and resolve invoice rejections, reductions, and payment delays Manage appeals and coordinate necessary corrections to ensure successful invoice submission Process matter requests and client onboarding requirements Support timekeeper setup, approvals, and rate submissions Partner with attorneys, billing professionals, and finance teams to ensure compliance with client billing guidelines Maintain accurate billing records and documentation Analyze billing data and generate reports as needed Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office Suite skills Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment Requirements 5+ years of billing experience Minimum 1‑3+ years of legal billing experience with exposure to the full billing lifecycle Demonstrated hands‑on e‑billing experience beyond invoice submission Experience Working With Invoice submissions Invoice rejections and corrections Appeal processes Timekeeper approvals Matter openings and maintenance Client onboarding requirements Rate submissions Invoice tracking through final resolution Strong understanding of billing guidelines, fee arrangements, and revenue cycle processes Preferred Qualifications Aderant Elite 3E Healthcare or medical billing experience is highly transferable and welcomed Exposure To ProLaw Oracle SAP Intapp Time Matters Other legal or professional services billing platforms The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
