As a Behavior Intervention Specialist, you'll collaborate with a dedicated school team to foster a positive and productive learning environment. Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
• Active Texas teaching certification with Special Education (SPED) endorsements
• Experience in SPED, social work, school counseling, or related fields
• Background as a school counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), BCBA, psychologist, or social worker highly valued
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs
• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviors
• Collaborate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD), Individualized Education Program (IEP), Response to Intervention (RtI), and Section 504 meetings
• Provide classroom observation, coaching, and direct intervention support, including crisis management as needed
• Work full-time, 37.5 hours weekly, integrating seamlessly with school teams to ensure continuity of care
