Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Special Education Teacher, or eligibility to obtain
• Experience as an Intervention Specialist highly valued
• Knowledge of both General and Behavioral intervention strategies
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Ability to collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
• Provide direct instruction, support, and behavioral interventions to students with varying abilities
• Monitor student progress and adapt strategies to meet evolving goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers for student success
• Facilitate a safe, supportive classroom that maximizes student engagement and growth
• Maintain timely, accurate records and participate in IEP/parent meetings as needed
