Accounts Payable Manager

My client is a well-established global organization that continues to invest heavily in its finance infrastructure as the business expands. They're looking for an experienced bilingual (Spanish) Accounts Payable leader to oversee a high-volume, multi-entity AP function while driving process improvements and automation initiatives. This is a highly visible leadership role that partners closely with Accounting, Treasury, Procurement, and Operations to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and support the company's continued growth. There is also significant opportunity to make a lasting impact as the organization continues to modernize its finance operations. Overview This position is responsible for leading the Accounts Payable function across multiple business entities, ensuring timely and accurate processing while developing scalable processes to support future growth. The role combines people leadership with operational excellence and offers the opportunity to help shape the next phase of the organization's AP strategy. What You'll Be Doing Lead the day-to-day Accounts Payable function across multiple business entities Manage and develop a team of AP professionals, providing coaching and performance leadership Drive process improvement initiatives, including automation and workflow optimization Oversee invoice processing, vendor management, payment execution, reconciliations, and compliance reporting Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve cash flow management and vendor relationships Support month-end and year-end close activities while maintaining strong internal controls Collaborate with leadership on projects that enhance operational efficiency and scalability What They're Looking For 7+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience within a high-volume, multi-entity environment Previous leadership experience managing and developing accounting or AP teams Experience supporting ERP implementations or AP automation initiatives Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and AP best practices Experience working within complex domestic and international business operations is highly desirable Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across Finance and Operations A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and process optimization This role offers a 4/1 hybrid schedule in the North Dallas area.
