Position: School Psychologist
Location: Lake Forest, Illinois
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
Assignment Dates: August 20, 2026 – June 5, 2027
Setting: Elementary School (Pre-K–4th Grade)
Position Overview

• We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist to support an elementary school population for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through evaluations, consultation, counseling services, and behavior support while working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
• The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting student success, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is committed to fostering positive academic, social-emotional, and behavioral outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct approximately 20 psychoeducational evaluations annually
• Provide counseling services through a small student caseload
• Support school-wide behavioral initiatives and intervention planning
• Lead and participate in team meetings, including:
• LEAM meetings
• Data review meetings
• Problem-solving meetings

• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to address student needs
• Assist with special education processes and eligibility determinations
• Utilize data to inform interventions and student support plans
• Promote positive learning environments and student well-being

Qualifications

• Required: Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• School Psychologist Endorsement

Preferred :

• Previous experience in a school-based setting
• Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills
• Experience supporting elementary-aged students
