Full-Time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist (Overnight Shift)

Barnes Jewish Hospital (BJH) Center for Advanced Medicine (St. Louis MO) is hiring a Full-Time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist for the overnight shift. Position details include: Overnight shift: 4 days @ 10 hour shifts (Tuesday Friday) or (Monday Thursday) TBD. No call or weekends! 4 days a week RT(R) MR or equivalent. Requirements include an associate degree or trade school equivalency (or higher level of education), certification as a registered technologist in radiography - R.T.(R) and/or MR, and 2 years of experience. Preferred qualifications include experience in one of the following areas: lead tech charge tech senior tech lead radiology technologist supervisor senior technologist radiology department lead chief technologist radiology supervisor RT medical imaging ARRT BD CI N VI ASRT radiologic radiographer AMT MR MRI magnetic resonance imaging ARMRIT MR MRI radiographer.

Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment for procedures, performing studies independently in on-call situations portable exams and other sites as required by work area, overseeing shift operations to include daily workflow assignments lunch schedules and adjusting priorities and assignments to best meet department needs, entering/escalating IT and equipment tickets, serving as the clinical resource and expert for the technologists, problem solving assisting with difficult exams and mentoring, serving as the clinical liaison between the team and supervisor, ensuring that proper information is communicated from the team and escalated to the supervisor appropriately, maintaining/ordering necessary supplies for department needs.

Minimum requirements include an associate or trade school equivalency (or higher level of education), 2-5 years of experience, and no supervisor experience. Licenses and certifications include IEMA - Illinois only excl MRIRTRCTMRMBDCICISRCES. Preferred requirements include 5-10 years of experience and licenses and certifications including cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
