Recovery Specialist - Inpatient

- Clients are provided with the medical and emotional support that they need during the one of the most pivotal stages in the recovery process.
- Services include individual case management and group treatment services focused on assisting the client with accessing step-down levels of care.
- The Recovery Specialist position is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to be a positive presence in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction.
- Essential Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- • Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities.
- • Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30-minute client well-being checks.
- • Conducts telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions duties. • Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor. • Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • Experience working with substance use population is preferred • Valid Driver’s License in good standing preferred Must be separated from any BILH affiliated facilities for 6 months prior to being considered.
