What You'll Do

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.
• Conduct nursing assessments, monitor patient conditions, and identify changes requiring intervention.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with sick calls, chronic care management, and other patient healthcare needs.
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to promote patient safety and continuity of care.
• Follow established clinical guidelines, facility procedures, and applicable nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN or RN license in Alabama, or a multistate license valid for practice in Alabama.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain as required.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality, professional ethics, and quality care.
• Ability to work in a secure correctional environment.
• Availability to work the assigned rotating day-shift schedule, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
