Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy to promote effective treatment outcomes.

• Provide counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for open dialogue.
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of recent advances in mental health practices.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and behavioral health specialists, to provide holistic care tailored to clients’ needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role involves working with diverse clients, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Our center focuses on serving individuals and families with limited access to mental health resources, ensuring that our services promote inclusivity, sensitivity, and respect for all clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
\n
• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
\n
• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
\n
• Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards in the counseling profession.
\n
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills that foster rapport with clients from a variety of backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in family therapy, couples counseling, substance abuse recovery, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.

• A proven track record of collaborating effectively within a healthcare team.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and telehealth platforms is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000 annually, which will be determined based on your experience and caseload management. In addition to competitive pay, employees will receive:
