Infant Co Lead Teacher

Job Overview We are looking for an infant co‑lead teacher to join our team in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a daytime position with no nights or weekends. Responsibilities Coordinate daily operations of assigned classes. Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment. Work directly with children, parents, and staff to provide quality customer service. Maintain child‑safety standards and comply with all State, Goddard, and local Health Department regulations. Communicate with parents daily through mobile apps, discussions, and written updates. Supervise children through sight and sound at all times during your shift, following Name‑to‑Face supervision. Assist with the handling of children, lifting up to 50 lbs. as needed. Participate in professional development opportunities and follow curriculum guidelines. Qualifications Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. 1‑2 years of previous experience in a young toddler‑aged classroom (12‑24 months) preferred. Current SIDS certification preferred. Strong ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members. Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multitasking. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. for child handling and program facilitation. Must remain active throughout the day, engaging with children in curriculum activities and outdoor play. Compliance with Goddard standards, including Name‑to‑Face supervision.
