SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MANAGER

High-Risk Training Safety OfficerYou will serve as the High-Risk Training Safety (HR-TS) Officer for High-Risk Training (HRT) activities assigned.You will administer the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Program using components of the Navy's Process Review and Measurement System.You will perform studies, surveys, and job hazard analyses of facility layouts, work processes, man-machine relationships, and environmental conditions to identify existing or potential hazards which could affect the health and safety of personnel.You will monitor classrooms and laboratories during high-risk training to ensure safe work methods and procedures are used.You will ensure all program requirements imposed by higher echelons and regulatory agencies are met, including all inspection and reporting requirements.You will conduct mission safety required inspections and support host commands in providing workplace inspections under Base Operating Support to ensure compliance with OSHA and Navy Safety programs.You will assist in the investigation of all motor vehicle, personal, and occupational incidents and diseases impacting TTF-B personnel.You will prepare summary reports showing accident and injury reports and coordinate action.You will identify workplace musculoskeletal disorder (WMSD) and ergonomic risk factors.You will maintain records and meet reporting requirements to include: Enterprise Safety Applications Management System (ESAMS); Risk Management Information (RMI) and Web Enabled Safety System databases.You will conduct safety reviews/evaluations of course modifications and/or new high-risk training courses/evolutions to include risk assessment, policy compliance, and observations of proposed training, and inspections of training platforms.You will recommend the application of specific techniques, methods, protective devices and changes in operating procedures to eliminate or control unsafe acts or conditions identified in surveys or through mishap information systems.
