Position Overview


Tekberry is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler I to join a global leader in the design, manufacturing, and integration of precision control components. This position supports production operations by assembling components, operating manufacturing equipment, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to efficient manufacturing processes in a fast-paced production environment.


The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working with manufacturing equipment while maintaining productivity, quality, and accuracy. Responsibilities


Assembly & Manufacturing Operations

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot manufacturing assembly line equipment and machinery.
• Operate production equipment to install components, parts, and subassemblies into in-process products.
• Assemble products according to work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
• Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
• Support multiple production lines through cross-training and flexible work assignments.

Material Handling

• Move raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the production area.
• Pack, sort, and prepare materials for manufacturing or shipment.
• Maintain organized workstations and ensure materials are properly staged for production.
• Safely handle products and materials while following company procedures.

Quality & Production Documentation

• Monitor product quality throughout the assembly process.
• Identify, separate, and report defective or nonconforming materials and finished products.
• Rework or assist with re-manufacturing products when required.
• Complete daily production records accurately to support manufacturing performance reporting.

Required Qualifications


Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience preferred.

Required Skills

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to identify defects and maintain quality standards.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating assembly line machinery or manufacturing equipment.
• Previous experience performing mechanical or electromechanical assembly.
• Experience maintaining production records or manufacturing documentation.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
• Experience working in ISO-certified or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Ability to support multiple production lines through cross-training.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing production environment with frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive hand movements.
• Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials and finished products.
• Frequent use of manufacturing equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated production areas.
