Work Schedule

Second Shift (Afternoons)

Monday through Friday

2:30 pm to 11:00 pm / 10% shift differential

Environmental Conditions

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Fluctuating Temps hot/cold, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Will work with hazardous/toxic materials, Working at heights

A day in the Life:

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems
• Provide technical assistance and mentor junior mechanics
• Participate in Lean events to improve maintenance techniques

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or GED Required

Experience: 3+ years in a mechanical role

Experience in a manufacturing plant environment

Self-starting with initiative to identify and solve problems

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems, Excellent communication skills, Ability to read complex schematics and engineering drawings

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $28.16–$34.10.
