**Job Requirements & Qualifications:** - **Years of Experience:** 2+ years NICU; prefer to have at least level III experience. - **Specific Experience Required:** At least 1 year required. - **Patient Ratio Experience:** 2-4 - **Valid State License:** Compact license must be in hand at submission. - **Certifications:** BLS, NRP - **Charting System Experience:** Required; Epic - **Special Requirements:** Administration of blood & blood products, Anti-Seizure Medications, Antibiotics/Antivirals, APGAR scoring, Arterial line management, Assist with lumbar puncture, Blood glucose monitoring, Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk, Bubble CPAP, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Developmental Care, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), Gastroschisis/Omphalocele, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), High Frequency Ventilation, Hyperbilirubinemia, ICP monitoring, Insulin administration, Invasive Hemodynamic monitoring, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, Level 1 Nursery, Management of Chest Tubes, Meconium Aspiration, Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC), Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Neonatal Dosage Calculations, Neonatal Sepsis, Neonates 34 weeks, Neonates 29-34 weeks, NICU II, NICU III, NICU IV, Nitric Oxide (INo), Oscillators, Oxygen Delivery Systems, Patient/family teaching, Phlebotomy, Phototherapy, Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Post Abdominal Surgery, Respiratory distress syndrome, Seizure disorders, Sepsis Work Up, Starting and maintaining IVs, Steroids, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Surfactants, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Therapeutic hypothermia (cooling blanket), Thermoregulation, Tracheostomy care/management, UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter), UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter), Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), Ventricular Peritoneal (VP) Shunts. - **References Required:** 2 references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years; can include Charge RNs/Lead.
