Contract | Days (4x12 Hours, 7:00–19:30) | 36 or 48 hour per week options available | 13 or 26 week contract options available | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a team-based care delivery model alongside LPNs, CNAs, and virtual nurses on a 40-bed non-specialty medical-surgical and telemetry unit serving adult patients (18+)
• Manage a diverse patient population presenting with acute and/or chronic conditions including sepsis, respiratory illness, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine conditions, cardiac disease, and post-bariatric procedures
• Manage titratable drips, chest tubes, tracheostomies, complex wound care, high oxygen delivery systems, and end-of-life care
• Float to other units within scope as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Adhere to weekend requirements: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible within a 4-week period
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's windows)

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Nebraska (pending license accepted; if not in hand at time of submission, start date will be booked six weeks out)
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience, obtained at a large, urban hospital
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records charting
• Experience managing titratable drips required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level I Academic Medical Center
• Familiarity with team-based care delivery models involving licensed and unlicensed interdisciplinary team members
• Experience with complex patient populations including post-bariatric, tracheostomy, and end-of-life care
