Executive Chef - Full Time
FTK Hospitality | Philadelphia, PA
We are seeking a highly creative Executive Chef to lead our culinary team opening in greater Philadelphia. and scale in into NJ, NYC, Miami , and other markets , This role is perfect for a talented chef with extensive experience in high-end, elevated Chinese and Malaysian cuisine. Join us in a vibrant and dynamic environment where your culinary expertise will shine, and help us create unforgettable dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a diverse menu featuring elevated Chinese and Malaysian dishes.
- Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation.
- Collaborate with the hospitality team to create unique dining experiences that reflect our brand.
- Manage kitchen staff, providing training, mentorship, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Maintain inventory and manage food costs, ensuring efficiency and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in high-end restaurant environments, preferably in large cities such as NYC, Chicago, DC, Miami, or Philadelphia.
- Strong background in Chinese and Malaysian cuisine, with a creative approach to menu development.
- Experience cooking overseas in Europe and China markets is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
