Property Damage Subrogation Specialist

We are seeking the ideal candidate for our Property Damage Subrogation Specialist opening for our growing insurance company! Duties & Responsibilities Review evidence required supporting property damage subrogation activity on claims in accordance with policy contract, corporate claims policy and state regulations Contact appropriate parties, insurance carriers, and attorneys, to negotiate settlements which are in compliance with company objectives and applicable state regulations Evaluate all counter claims that present themselves and review with Claims management Review settlement offers with Claims management to ensure they are in compliance with company objectives and applicable state regulations Achieve/maintain company goals Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Minimum of 3 to 5 years of auto insurance company subrogation experience Knowledge of liability law Good interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills Ability to pass written examinations where required by state statutes to become a licensed claims adjuster Ability to work on an on-line computer-based claims system In-Office position Preferred College degree Benefits First Chicago Insurance Company provides a competitive benefits package to all full- time employees.
