BIM Coordinator

An electrical contractor in San Antonio is looking for a Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Coordinator to join their team. This role is fully in-person at an executive office. In this role you would be responsible for: Setting up and maintaining construction projects in Autodesk Revit, a Building Information Modeling (BIM) authoring software. Setting up and maintaining construction projects in Autodesk Forma Model Coordination and Navisworks Manage, platforms for BIM coordination. Aligning, converting, updating, and otherwise managing each project’s linked files for use in BIM authoring and coordination. Exporting, publishing, and otherwise providing model updates for use in coordination according to each project’s schedule. Performing model interference and clash testing and publishing detailed results for internal review. Required Education and Credentials High school diploma. United States citizen able to work in the state of Texas. Pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Preferred Education and Credentials Technical or trade school certification related to design or technology. Required Skills and Experience Basic knowledge of concepts related to Virtual Design & Construction (VDC). Understanding, familiarity and experience using cloud filesharing and data management platforms. Ability to effectively navigate digital 3D space using a mouse and keyboard. Effective verbal and written communication. Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 suite of applications.
