This role requires flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to float to other units as needed. The RN will be responsible for applying the nursing process, coordinating patient care, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive physical, psychosocial, and spiritual patient assessmentsDevelop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary teamAdminister medications, monitor patient responses, and document care accuratelyContinuously evaluate patient status and adjust care plans as neededEducate patients and families to promote positive health outcomesSupervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and Nursing AssistantsParticipate in performance improvement and risk management activitiesMaintain professional growth through continuing education and best practicesEnsure patient safety, infection control, and compliance with hospital policiesDemonstrate cultural sensitivity and provide age-appropriate careQualificationsCurrent, valid Massachusetts RN licenseMinimum of 2 years of hospital experienceVentilator and tracheostomy experience requiredTelemetry and IV experience requiredStrong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skillsApply today or contact us for more information.
