Job Title: Member Services Representative Location (city, state): Washington, DC Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 / hour (depending on experience) Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours. Role At a Glance: This position follows a split-function schedule with teller responsibilities during the morning and member services/business development duties in the afternoon. Job Description: Our client is seeking a polished and customer-focused professional to support daily branch operations while promoting financial products and services to members. This hybrid role combines teller responsibilities with customer service and business development functions, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy relationship-building, sales, and client-facing work. The ideal candidate will have previous banking or financial services experience, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to support multiple branch locations as needed. Key Responsibilities: Process member banking transactions accurately and efficiently in a teller capacity during morning branch operations Assist customers with account questions, service requests, and product-related inquiries Identify opportunities to recommend and promote additional financial products and services Conduct outbound member outreach to support business development and cross‑selling initiatives Maintain accurate account documentation and update member information as needed Partner with internal departments to resolve member concerns and ensure a positive customer experience Support administrative and operational functions related to branch and training activities Provide coverage support for additional branch locations when necessary Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, cash handling, customer service, or a related environment High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills Previous experience working in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment Comfortable promoting products and discussing service offerings with customers Strong computer, data entry, and keyboarding skills Flexible, adaptable, and team‑oriented mindset Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information responsibly Fully onsite position located in Washington, DC Candidates should be comfortable commuting to the Reston, VA area occasionally for branch coverage support Ideal candidates may reside in areas such as Falls Church, Fairfax, or nearby surrounding locations Initial training period during the first 2–3 weeks requires full attendance with no scheduling conflicts Candidates should disclose any pre‑planned time off within the first 4 months of the assignment Standard daily schedule includes teller duties in the morning and member services/business development responsibilities in the afternoon Excellent opportunity for long‑term career growth and advancement Comprehensive benefits package available upon permanent hire Education assistance and professional development opportunities Employee‑focused environment with strong tenure and internal growth potential Access to additional employee perks and financial service discounts Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
