Registered Vascular Technologist - General SurgeryThis is not a travel assignment.Relocation assistance is not available for this position.This is a permanent, on-site position in New Jersey with Saint Peter's Healthcare System.Please apply only if you are able to work at the listed job location or are willing to relocate at your own expense.The Registered Vascular Technologist will:Schedule appointmentsPrepare the patient for the procedure, ensuring they are as comfortable as possibleObtain a brief health historyPerform vascular procedures following accepted protocol and utilizes the clinical symptoms and data to aid preliminary diagnosisAssist Vascular Surgeon in diagnosis in a competent and professional mannerAssist in ordering of supplies and proper maintenance of equipmentRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of a one (1) year training program or equivalent on-the-job training.Graduate from approved school of medical ultrasound technology or equivalent.Familiarity with medical terminology, human anatomy and physiology, and pertinent testing procedures required to perform clinical tests, maintain equipment, chart treatments and tests, etc.RVT Certification required.BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials. The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
