Job Category: Accountant, AccountingLocation: Marion, IL.Shift: Monday- Friday, 8am-5pmCompensation: $25-$30 per hour based on experience Benefits offered once hired on: Health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k Similar Positions: Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Accounting Coordinator Responsibilities of the Accountant Prepare monthly financial statements - reconcile cash, accounts receivable, inventory, etc. and write journal entries to record financial transactions in the general ledger. Perform various reconciliation/balancing functions to track receivables and payables among various related companies as well as within each company. Knowledge of health insurance and payroll desired. Additional assignments as needed. Requirements of the Accountant Ability to prioritize duties and multi-task in a fast paced environment. Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner. Eye for detail. Accuracy is imperative. Ability to meet deadlines.
