Remote Customer Service Representative

Location : 100% Remote

Start 10/5 - anticipated 6 month contract with potential for extension

Pay : $21/hr

Schedule : Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM CST

Job Purpose:

This position, working with a limited degree of supervision, serves on the Participant Service Center - a call center supporting participants of retirement plans. This position serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Operations Products, Systems, and Processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as day-to-day client contact for participants, providing guidance and support to participants on retirement provisions and ensuring clients' needs are met.
• Work with other members of the Retirement team on more complex problem resolution.
• Conduct primary and secondary research and collects information to respond to inquiries from customers or other client and advisor requests as needed
• Processes and makes decisions around service requests and system transactions based on the customer request and in accordance with business and regulatory rules
• Serve as a product resource for internal departments of the organization

Job Requirements:

• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Associate's Degree in Business or equivalent work experience is preferred
• MUST have High School Diploma or GED equivalent
