Senior Accountant

Market Accounting Position
Serve as the primary accountant for assigned markets. Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. Perform general accounting activities and ensure the integrity of financial data for assigned entities.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cash reconciliations for assigned markets. Reconcile ticketing systems, merchant processors, bank activity, and the general ledger. Research and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner. Maintain organized and complete supporting documentation for all reconciliations.
Review and post Accounts Payable invoices for assigned markets prior to posting. Complete month-end close activities for assigned markets. Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation. Perform balance sheet account reconciliations. Ensure all month-end deadlines are met accurately and on schedule. Assist with quarterly and year-end audit requests. Assist with sales tax, amusement tax, and other tax reporting and filing requirements. Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances. Assist with special projects and financial analyses as assigned.
Assist CAO in preparing monthly financial reporting packages for assigned markets. Analyze account activity and investigate significant variances. Prepare supporting schedules and reports as requested by supervisor.
Upload annual budgets and periodic forecasts into the financial system. Review budget data for completeness and accuracy. Assist CAO with budget reporting and forecast updates as needed.
Partner with Operations, Ticketing, Settlements, and other internal departments to support assigned markets. Respond promptly and professionally to internal requests. Support additional accounting responsibilities across multiple markets as business needs evolve. Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented accounting department.
