AP/AR Accountant

We are seeking an entry level accountant to join our team. This position will be responsible for a wide range of accounting efforts in a multifaceted group of companies. This position will have a wide range of responsibilities impacting the financial statement and control environments for a group of operational, development, and construction entities. Accounts Payable Process and manage subcontractor draws to ensure timely and accurate payments Manage lien and sworn statements waivers Request W-9 forms from vendors. Collect banking information from vendors for electronic payments. Research past-due invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors. Collaborate with operations for invoice approvals. Payroll Validate hours, deductions, and process payroll accurately. Review new hire packets for completeness and accuracy. Coordinate with operations to meet payroll deadlines. Complete I-9 forms and E-Verify processes Qualifications Experience in the construction industry or similar experience Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills Experience in development, construction, hospitality, restaurants a plus Proficient with Microsoft software products Ability to learn new software Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Employee Benefits medical dental vision tuition reimbursement 401K training and development opportunity for advancement corporate support for field operations
