Assembler IGEA Group, located in York, PA, is searching for an Assembler I to join our Production Team.Responsibilities:Standard Vessels and Heat ExchangersPerforms all operations in the manufacture of standard separators, receivers, heat exchangers to required specifications and budgets.Installs tubes in heat exchangersCalculates tube reduction and executes tube rollingPrepares water boxes and attaches to heat exchangersExecutes ASME testing per drawing instruction and special specificationsPerforms other duties as assigned.Standard Compressor PackagesPerforms all operations in the manufacture of standard compressor packages to required specifications and budgets.Performs all mechanical assembly in the manufacture of compressor packages not welding related.Performs all testing required per drawing instruction and special specificationsPerforms all operations necessary to prepare and paint standard product.Assembles control panelsMounts control panel and installs the wire harnessPerforms control panel check outPerforms other duties as assigned.CNC Plasma Cutting Equipment and Quickmill Machining CenterPerforms all operations to required specifications and budgetPerforms required programmingLoads raw materialsUnloads cut parts, deburr as necessaryPerforms routine daily maintenancePerforms other duties as assignedYour Profile / QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.Certified Vocational Degrees PreferredMinimum Experience: Vocation Training or Less than 2 related assembly experienceBasic math skillsComprehension of safety rulesSit, stand, reach, walk for periods of time on concrete surface.Ability to lift / carry 50 lbs.Sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate tools and or machinery.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.May be required to work extended hours which may include weekends and holidays.The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $21.00 - $26.00 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
