Remote Account Manager

A quickly growing, fast-paced Public Relations and Public Affairs firm is looking for a full-time Account Manager in our Des Moines, IA-based office. The primary role of the Account Manager is to provide flawless execution for clients. Account Managers must exhibit strong organizational and communication skills, be an effective team player, and exhibit a “can do” attitude – finding ways around any potential problem or barrier. Project Management Plans and manages all account-specific projects, from project initiation to project completion Keeps team members informed on project developments and issues via regular status meetings, reports, and meeting recaps Recognizes and devises solutions to potential project challenges/issues Compiles and maintains a historical file for each project Manages a team to execute at a high level Client Management Knows how/when to engage strategic planning Critically thinking about our clients needs, thinking ahead of a client/project Personal Development Enthusiastically volunteers for agency projects Bachelor’s degree in related field.
