Sr Financial Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to lead financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis for the Asset Management Services business, with primary focus on European operations. The role involves partnering across finance, commercial, and operations teams to deliver timely insights and drive financial accountability.

Responsibilities

Own financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis with accountability for accuracy and timeliness
Analyze performance variances to identify business drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities
Partner with Commercial and Operations teams to understand revenue, profitability, and operational drivers
Build financial models supporting pricing, expense, headcount, and investment decisions
Translate financial data into actionable insights for business leadership

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
3+ years of financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, or business finance experience
Strong forecasting, budgeting, reporting, variance analysis, and financial modeling skills
Proficiency with enterprise resource planning systems and Microsoft Excel
Experience with SAP, Hyperion Planning, Power BI, or Cognos platforms preferred
Excellent communication and business partnering skills across functions and geographies
Demonstrated accountability, curiosity, and commitment to understanding business drivers
