Financial Analyst III - Commercial Finance

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Financial Analyst III to support North America Commercial Finance operations. The role involves financial planning, performance analytics, forecasting, and decision support for commercial leadership across a complex, matrixed organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial analysis and decision support to North America Commercial leadership and cross-functional teams
- Develop monthly forecasts, quarterly outlooks, and Annual Operating Plans incorporating business trends and stakeholder input
- Analyze commercial performance indicators including bookings, revenue, pipeline, and customer trends to identify risks and opportunities
- Support operating expense planning, budget management, and variance analysis for North America Commercial organization
- Prepare recurring reports, dashboards, and presentations for Commercial, Finance, and senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years progressive experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Financial Analysis
- Experience with financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI experience strongly preferred
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities with large datasets
- Experience supporting commercial or sales organizations strongly preferred
- Experience in large, complex, matrixed organization preferred
