Sr Financial Analyst

Senior Financial Analyst role within the Commercial and Operations Finance function at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Supports global sales teams through financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and reporting to drive business profitability and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly financial closing activities and ensure accurate consolidated reporting
- Analyze revenue, spending, and headcount variances against budget and forecast
- Develop and prepare summary financial reports for senior management review
- Support annual operating plan preparation and business review meetings
- Execute special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses as needed
Requirements
- Advanced degree plus 3-5 years FP&A experience, or bachelor's degree plus 5-7 years
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and high-quality output
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency; Oracle, HFM/CMR, or SAP Analytics Cloud preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication capabilities
- Experience with financial planning & analysis or controlling functions
- Self-motivated with continuous improvement mindset and strong work ethic
Compensation: $93,800–$140,675 base
