Financial Analyst II

Assist the Budget Manager in preparing, developing, and maintaining operating and capital budgets Partner with department leaders and management to develop accurate and effective budget plans Research and analyze account variances to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities Review monthly financial variance reports and analyze budget performance and financial trends Identify key drivers affecting budget needs and assist with forecasting and financial planning Prepare financial reports, analyses, and presentations for operational and strategic initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and analyze financial data Provide recommendations based on financial analysis to support leadership decision-making Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities Requirements 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, accounting, or a related area required 5+ years of financial experience required Experience with financial reporting, variance analysis, and budget development processes Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to interpret financial data and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools Experience supporting operating and capital budget processes 3–5 years of healthcare finance experience preferred Experience with enterprise financial systems and reporting platforms Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field required Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting, with a strong ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
